IOSH Managing Safely

Introduction
Managing Safely is for those required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation's policy and best practice in Health and Safety. Managing Safely comprises seven core modules requiring a total direct input period of at least 24 hours plus assessment time.

During the course there will be two mock assessments, by which progress and understanding of health and safety management can be gauged. The final session will consist of a summative assessment and a project to be carried out in the workplace.

The final assessment and the project will be marked by QM&T tutors and moderated by IOSH. Successful candidates will receive a Managing Safely Certificate accredited by IOSH Please note that the whole process of marking and moderation by IOSH takes about eight weeks.

MODES OF DELIVERY
Block Release (BR): four days (Written examination) Practical examination will be within two week of the examination date conducted on the students site.
